MERILYN’S 8 WEEK CHALLENGE JOURNEY TO BUILD HER CONFIDENCE

Meet Merilyn- a mother of four from Pinnacle Upwey who had the ultimate goal going into her first 8 Week Challenge! Merilyn was very successful during her 8 Week Challenge journey having lost 10kg! Not only has Merilyn achieved a huge weight loss goal, she is feeling more confident in her body. Merilyn was happy to share her story, and advice for anyone who is considering signing up to our 8 Week Challenge beginning this August.

What made you want to pursue your 8WC journey?

Before the 8WC I was looking for someone to push me during my training and the challenge popped up at a really good time for me. My goal is to be able to wear summer clothing & feel comfortable in my bathers when I visit Europe with my family in June.

What motivated you to get through the 8 Week Challenge?

The support I received from Bianca really helped me stay committed to my training. The coaches are always checking in during the 8 weeks to make sure I was attending my sessions too so there was no excuse (chuckles)

It’s much easier to stay on track when you have someone holding you accountable for your attendance and seeing familiar faces during the sessions makes you feel a part of a community.

What new habits have you adapted to from the challenge?

I was training in the morning so I’d like to see how I go training in the morning for a while and I’m going to continue on with small group training in The Locker Room to make sure I am feeling confident when I soak up some sun on my holiday!
