Great News! Outdoor Group Training is BACK!

The coaching team at Pinnacle Health Club is excited to get back to training you all face to face (even if it is from a distance!). Our aim is to not only keep you fit, healthy, and motivated, but to give you the opportunity to reconnect with others and have fun along the way. With new government restrictions in place, we are now running a range of outdoor group fitness classes in our Melbourne health clubs including Parkdale, Oakleigh, Scoresby and Upwey.

With over 25 classes running per week at each club, all of our class times will be staggered to allow enough time between members entering and exiting. With session numbers capped at 20 participants in all of our outdoor group fitness training classes- make sure you book in advance to avoid missing out!

No. Our classes are open to all Pinnacle members and non-members. You can choose to either sign up to a flexible membership option for unlimited classes or if you prefer to pay per class, you can do this via our Pinnacle Studio App.
You can choose to have unlimited access to all of the classes for $29pw or if you prefer to pay per class, you can do this via our Pinnacle Studio App for $15 per class. Choose the option that suits you below and you will receive email instructions on how to get started.
Our outdoor training will be located at our Parkdale, Oakleigh, Scoresby and Upwey clubs. Each session will meet in the car park of the club and the coach will either run this in a sectioned off area of the car park or take you to a local park area. There will be clear signage at the front of the club to direct you. If you need to check the location of our clubs, you can find it here 
Absolutely! All of our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness. Our coaches will provide modifications for every exercise and the sessions will run based on time, not how many reps you complete so you can always take it at your own pace.
Classes will still go ahead in rain, so please come dressed prepared for forecasted weather conditions. In the event of heavy rain, hail or lightning occur during a workout, the session will be cancelled or relocated. We have local sheltered areas as a back up plan in poor weather and all participants will receive an SMS prior to session commencing should we need to move to a more suitable location.
We ask for everyone to bring their own full length towel, a full drink bottle as well as a yoga mat. To reduce the sharing of any equipment, if you would like to add some resistance to your training and you have your own dumbbells, kettlebells or weights- you are welcome to bring these with you. Make sure you arrive 5 minutes early so you have time to set up your station.
All bookings are done through our Pinnacle Studio App. You will need to download this here. Once downloaded and your profile is set up, simply choose your location and class you would like to book and follow the prompts.
You can cancel your classes through the Pinnacle Studio App. You just need to go into the class you wish to cancel. If you can not make it to a session please cancel your booking with a minimum of 1 hour notice. With limited numbers we must ensure all participants are cancelling when not able to attend and the more notice the better. If you are paying casually for the session and do not cancel with a minimum of 1 hour notice you will forfeit the session credit.
As the clubs remain closed, there is no access to bathroom or shower facilities before or after your session.
We will not have access to the water fountains or to purchase water so please ensure you bring along enough water for you to stay hydrated during and after your session.
We allow a 20 minute cross over between classes to allow enough time being the groups ending and starting. Although we love chatting at the end of classes, we ask you to not hang around after your class to ensure enough time for the next group to join with minimal interactions.
Our classes will run for 50 minutes including a warm up and cool down.
Our classes will combine a mixture of cardio and strength exercises designed to increase your fitness and build muscle. Each class style will be slightly different but all classes will be completed on time rather than reps so every person can take the class at their own pace.
